Illustration Love

One of my favourite blogs, Creature Comforts, featured the work of Cecilia Carlstedt a couple of weeks ago.

I found her illustration intoxicating. I don't say that lightly. There is something mysterious, seductive, at times confronting. I love the palatte she uses. I love her style.

I feel a coat coming on....

The weather changed last week. Subtle change. Has made me start thinking of Coats. I love coats. To tell the truth, I prefer winter. I like to be warm. But I prefer it to be cold and for me to warm up. I don't really do this summer heat very well. Strange isn't it. Anyway, I started thinking of Coats. I found these. Do you like them?

 And if I had a do-over then I would look to this one for inspiration. I have been admiring this wedding through a number of blogs but here are some of my favourite photos. The imagination and spirit of this bride and groom are something to marvel at.
